Event Details

Blake Morrison, who lives in Blackheath, is an award-winning author, poet and journalist. His prizewinning non-fiction books include the memoir And When Did You Last See Your Father? and As If, about the 1993 murder of the toddler James Bulger. His novels include South of the River. The recently-published The Executor, is about Matt, who after being appointed executor of a friend’s estate, a renowned poet, uncovers some potentially explosive material. The novel, which includes Blake Morrison’s own poetry, asks what matters most: marriage or friendship? Fidelity or art? The wishes of the living or the dead?
