Stranger Faces is a new collection of paintings and drawings by the artist Anna Kazan.

Anna was born and educated in New York, where she studied painting and illustration at the School of Visual Arts. Her new series is a celebration of colour and form in painting.

“Figurative art can be a reaction to cultural movements, political beliefs, and personal stories. In this new series, portraiture is an act of connecting with what we find most meaningful in life – the people who surround us. Using myself and those close to me as content, I explore vibrant colour palettes and organic shape making, aiming at the celebratory and the uplifting.”
