It’s never too early to get the kids into comedy – and this weekend could prove the perfect chance, as Comedy Club 4 Kids brings its festive special to Greenwich Theatre. GALLOP THROUGH THE WOODS WITH ROBIN HOOD
Steal from the rich and give to the poor this Saturday with Playhouse Productions’ Robin Hood. Brave little ones will gallop through Sherwood Forest with Robin and Marian, helping them take back the land from the Sheriff in this high-energy, song-fuelled show staged in the Royal Arsenal. PREPARE TO BE ENCHANTED AT ELTHAM PALACE GARDENS
The gardens of Eltham Palace have been jazzed-up for Christmas with twinkling lights, soundscapes and big, bright splashes of colour. Get lost in the maze of light and discover secrets hidden in the woodland, including a talking tree. If that’s not enough, fairground swing chairs and rocking boats will there to entertain the tots, while grown-ups can do a spot of Christmas shopping in the palace gift shop. This year, Churchill Theatre’s Creative Learning Christmas Show is The Owl and the Pussycat. It’s a chance to see and hear Edward Lear’s classic tale brought to life, and join the story’s unlikely couple on their pea green boat as they sing and reminisce over memories of their travels out at sea.
