ELTHAM’S TUDOR BARN HOSTS GREENWICH DANCE JAMBOREE
Grab your family, friends and favourite neighbours, and head to Eltham’s Tudor Barn for an afternoon of dancing. Hosted by Greenwich Dance, the Jamboree includes performances influenced by the diverse cultures found within the borough. The event sees local community and school groups perform alongside professional performers and is a chance to celebrate the artist in us all. Dig out the pinkest items in your wardrobe and head to Blackheath Common, where the annual 5k and 10K Race for Life events are being held. You can walk, run or simply cheer on the events, which are organised by Cancer Research and raise money to combat all types of cancer. BID FOR A GOOD CAUSE
Her Centre, a local charity dedicated to eradicating violence against women and girls, is hosting a charity auction at the Boy’s Brigade Hall in Blackheath. Tickets cost £20, and include a welcome drink and dinner. Goods to bid for on the night include restaurant meals, event tickets, holidays, experiences and more. TRINITY LABAN SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA CELEBRATES THREE FRENCH COMPOSERS
Head outside the borough and up to the prestigious concert venue Cadogan Hall in Chelsea to support the local Trinity Laban Symphony Orchestra playing the works of three French composers, two of whom are female composers: Lili Boulanger and Henriette Renié. PERUSE THE POP-UPS AT PASSEY PLACE
Between June 24 – 28, when the clock strikes 5pm, Passey Place in Eltham is being taken over by pop-up buskers who will delight and entertain crowds with mini performances and demonstrations on how to copy their moves and grooves.
