While the weather might not be warm enough to take your tea outdoors, Charlton House & Gardens is hosting a botanical-themed afternoon tea this Mother’s Day featuring flavours and treats themed around an English country garden.

Guests will dine on a selection of mini savoury rolls before moving onto sweet treats – including lemon and elderflower cupcakes, and scones filled with rosehip preserve and Cornish clotted cream. Drinks wise, a selection of tea, coffee and prosecco is on offer. Charlton House, Charlton Road, London SE7 8RE. March 31, from 1pm – 4:30pm. Admission: £35/£18 for children.
