PET TRAINING TIPS
Whether you’ve recently become a pet owner or are thinking about getting a pet, you might benefit from some training tips. Greenwich Council has partnered with Battersea Dogs and Cats Home to offer a free pet training programme to council tenants and leaseholders. THE GREAT CHARLTON GET TOGETHER
Pack a picnic blanket and make your way to Charlton Park for the area’s own Great Get Together, organised by Parkfest. Expect a host of family activities – from face painting to wellbeing – along with art workshops, fairground attractions, a skateboarding competition and the annual Great Charlton Cake Off. QUENTIN BLAKE’S ILLUSTRATIONS COME TO LIFE
See Quentin Blake’s stunning children’s book The Green Ship brought to the stage for the first time by Librarian Theatre. The magical adaptation – which is currently on a UK-wide tour of libraries, schools and community spaces – is coming to The Deptford Lounge. Visitors to Well Hall Pleasaunce Park this Sunday are being treated to an afternoon of live music. HELP CLEAR UP THE WOODS
Head to Oxleas Woodlands this Saturday to be part of a team doing their bit for the environment.
