Passionate about Pigs: Wednesday 29th May, 1pm-3pm.
Come along to the pig activity day where you can have a go at the fun pig facts trail round the farmyard, and see the lovely Tamworth pigs. There will also be a chance to make a pig craft to take home. Admission: £3 per child. No need to book, just drop in. For more information call 020 8319 8900

Pond Dipping: Thursday 30th May, 10am, 11am, 1pm and 2pm.
Try a spot of pond dipping! The farm provides the nets and trays and you can find out what lives hidden beneath the surface of the pond. Admission: £2 per child. Booking is essential.

Barn dance: Saturday 1st June, 7.30pm – 10.45pm
Enjoy an evening of dancing and live music from the well-known Skinners Rats band in the farm’s traditional barn. Bring your own food and drink for an evening of great fun and laughter. Tickets £12.50. To book tickets visit:

Woodlands Farm is located on the borders of of Bexley and Greenwich. At 89 acres, it is the largest city farm in the UK. The farm’s priorities are education and conservation, and they are part of the Natural England Higher Level Stewardship Scheme. The Trust aims to involve local community groups, schools, volunteers and businesses in farming and conservation, helping to bridge the current town-country divide.

Woodlands Farm is open 9:30am-4:30pm, Tuesday-Sunday. There is no entry charge except for special events, though donations are always welcome. Sensible shoes and clothing are recommended.
