Legendary London Café, Time For Terry’s (formally known as Terrys Café) will be hosting a street party on Saturday 15th June 2019 from 12-6.30pm to celebrate the launch of their expansion and extended opening hours, plus the release of a specially curated CD soundtrack Time For Terry’s – Various Artists – with tunes by such greats as Cab Calloway and Fats Domino.
Head to 158 Great Suffolk Street where this quintessentially British restaurant with over 20 year’s history of serving delicious home-cooked food, will be presenting a good old-fashioned knees-up with free entertainment from Carradines Cockney Singalong.
Gather around the Ol’ Joanna for a traditional cockney sing-a-long featuring songs from the music hall era, WWI and II, the West End stage and popular songs from across the decades. Whilst enjoying Time For Terry’s award winning breakfast served until 1pm and high tea, Borough beef burgers, sausage rolls and Billingsgate fish-finger sandwiches plus vegetarian options, served until close. All this washed down with local beers and prosecco spritzer or Time For Terry’s own branded teas & Monmouth coffee.
The Street Party will be held in the expanded restaurant area and outdoor seating space with music from the newly released soundtrack, Time For Terry’s – Various Artists. Time For Terry’s – Various Artists released on Music For Heroes label on CD & Digital on Friday June 14th was inspired by the many customers who have enquired about the playlist as they tuck into their hearty scran. The tunes played at Terry’s are as popular as their famous tea, renowned breakfasts and their daily specials.
Amid the red and white checked tablecloths numerous celebrities have appreciated a brew, Eddie Redmayne conducted his interview with American Vogue, just to accentuate his very Englishness and, GQ’s comedians of the year, Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon were shot here enjoying a full English in white tuxedos.
