Dave Finnegan, one of the stars of cult film The Commitments, will be bringing an 8 piece band to Churchill Theatre to play hits from the movie for one night only. 

Dave, who played the drummer Mick Wallace in the 1991 film which was based on Roddy Doyle’s novel of the same name, will be bringing Dave Finnegan’s The Commitments to the Bromley theatre on July 22.

They will be playing hits from the film, whose soundtrack reached number 1 and sold over 12 million albums worldwide, such as Mustang Sally, Take Me To The River and Try a Little Tenderness.

The theatre has previously unveiled its summer of theatre, including Titanic the Musical, Evita the Musical, and Flashdance.
