Police have launched an appeal after rogue traders allegedly stole money from a partially-sighted 90-year-old woman.
The woman was at home in Kidbrooke, Greenwich on Wednesday January 9 when three men arrived at the house and put a ladder next to her front door.
Two of the men knocked on her door and told her they needed £225 to repair the roof, which the pensioner gave them, police said.
When the incident was reported to the police, no work was found to have been carried out on the roof.
Detectives believe the 90-year-old was a victim of a well-rehearsed fraud, and that the suspects may have attempted to carry out the same ruse in other places.
Police are wanting to identify this man in connection with their investigation.
Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact the South East Command Unit on 101 quoting reference 4305/09Jan.
