A man is due to appear in court after a stabbing in Woolwich on Monday.
Peter Morley, 35 of Granite Street, SE18, was arrested on the evening of Monday, 10 September on suspicion of attempted murder.
Earlier that day at around 9.30am police were called to reports of a stabbing at Anglesea Road, Woolwich. Officers attended. At the scene a woman, believed in her 30s, was found suffering from a number of stab wounds to her back.
The injured woman was taken by air ambulance to a central London hospital where her condition is not life threatening.
This morning (Thursday, 13 September), Morley was charged with GBH and breach of a non-molestation order and will appear in custody at Bromley Magistrate’s Court later today.
