Detectives in Lewisham are appealing for information to find a man who has ‘breached the conditions of his licence’ from prison.

Twenty-nine-year-old Xavier Lightbourne, from Forest Hill, was released on licence from HMP Highdown on Tuesday, August 14.

An emergency recall to prison was issued on Tuesday, October 30, after police said he breached the terms of his licence. He is also wanted for GBH and two breaches of a court order.

He is described as black with dark hair and eyes, around five-foot-ten, and of stocky build often wearing a distinctive black moustache. He also has a ‘v’ shaped scar on the index finger of his right hand.

Lightbourne is believed to have links to Lewisham, Greenwich and Lambeth.

Detective Sergeant Sam Bennett said he wanted to remind the public ‘that harbouring a wanted suspect is an offence’.

He warned not to approach Lightbourne if seen, and instead call 999 immediately.

Anyone with information that could help track him down should call police on 101 or – to give information anonymously – call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
