After a mass teenage brawl in Croydon, which is believed to have left three people stabbed, police are appealing for any witnesses or drivers with dash cam footage to come forward.
Police were called at 12.50pm yesterday, (Wednesday January 30), to the fight in broad daylight near Gravel Hill tram stop.
Three men were taken to hospital with injuries believed to have resulted from being stabbed which are not life-threatening.
A fourth person is in hospital in a serious but stable condition from a head injury.
Seven teenage boys were arrested at the scene on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. The youngest is just fifteen.
Detective Inspector David Willis said: “We have made seven arrests and we are pleased with how the investigation is progressing, but we are still appealing for witnesses to come forward.
“This incident took place in a busy area in broad daylight and we are sure there are people who witnessed the incident who have not yet spoken to us.
“It does not matter how insignificant you think the information you have is, I’d urge you to come forward.
“We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who has any mobile and/or dashcam footage of the incident itself as well as any footage of people congregating at the tram stop in Gravel Hill between 12.30m and 1pm Wednesday, January 30.
“Any information or footage received will be treated sensitively.”
