The 24-year-old woman who died in a suspected hit and run in Brixton Hill in the early hours of last Saturday morning has been named by police.
Celia Ines Betrouni, from France, died at the scene of the collision on the corner of Brixton Hill and New Park Road.
Her family have been informed, and a post-mortem was held on Monday, January 14.
The car believed to have hit Celia was found nearby in Brixton, the day following her death.
After a media appeal, a 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
He has now been bailed until mid-February, pending further enquiries.
Police say they are still appealing for any witnesses, or anyone with information to come forward.
