A group of young performers will be showcasing their talents at the Bob Hope Theatre with a unique style of revue show.

Under the tutelage of West End stage star Paul F Monaghan the company, which comprises of ten highly accomplished young stars of tomorrow have created a show unlike other West End/Broadway revue type shows that focuses primarily on ‘acting through song’ presenting a broad variety of styles and genres from the 1940’s to the present day.

The Broadway Babies show will feature songs from the musicals Gypsy, West Side Story, Chicago, Follies, Beauty And The Beast, Kinky Boots, Dear Evan Hansen, If/Then, Miss Saigon, Song And Dance and lots more.

These highly accomplished young actor/singers have been preparing every Sunday for the past 10 weeks and honing their talents.

Director/Musical Director Paul F Monaghan has over 25 years experience of starring in the West End and Internationally and first appeared in Les Misérables at the Palace Theatre, London playing the leading roles of Jean Valjean and Javert. He also played the title role in The Phantom Of The Opera and worked directly with Andrew Lloyd Webber, Sir Trevor Nunn and Dame Gillian Lynne at the London Palladium in 2015 for the revival of their international hit Cats.

Paul – who is also the very proud uncle of Hollywood A-list Star Colin Farrell said, “It has and continues to be a great pleasure to work with and pass on the skills I have learned over the years to these hugely talented young actor/singers and to observe their growth throughout the rehearsal period. The production on December 3rd promises to be a thrilling evening of the highest standard.”

Broadway Babies will be performed at The Bob Hope Theatre on Sunday 3 December at 7.30pm.
