Evita, the classic musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, will return to the Churchill Theatre for exclusive London dates.

The musical, which had its West End premiere forty years ago, follows the life of Eva Perón, who started as a young actress before becoming the wife of former Argentine leader Juan Perón.

Set in 1940s Buenos Aires, the show features musical numbers Don’t Cry For Me Argentina, On This Night of a Thousand Stars and Another Suitcase in Another Hall.

Madelena Alberto reprises her role as Eva and Gian Marco Schiaretti stars alongside as the narrator, Ché.

The show is part of the Bromley theatre’s ‘big three’ summer musicals, which include Titanic the Musical, which runs in July, and Flashdance, in August.
