Lazarus Theatre are once again taking over Greenwich Theatre for a run of classics:

William Shakespeare’s Macbeth: 26th Feb – 7th March.

Victorious from a bloody battle the triumphant Macbeth is greeted by the three weird sisters. Inspired and driven by their incredible prophecies he sets out on the path to conquer all. A story of ambition, leadership and belief.

Henrik Ibsen’s Hedda Gabler in a new version by Sara Reimers: 25th March – 4th April,

Intelligent and ambitious Hedda is newly married and suffocating. Her pursuit of her own identity and survival leads to one of the most dramatic climaxes in stage history. Ibsen’s searing masterpiece Hedda Gabler comes to the stage in this blistering new version adapted by Lazarus Associate Director Sara Reimers.

JM Barrie’s Peter Pan :24th June – 11th July,

“Second to the right and straight on ’til morning.”

One ordinary evening turns into one extraordinary adventure… JM Barrie’s Peter Pan the boy who wouldn’t grow up flies into Greenwich Theatre in this all-new ensemble production. Featuring puppetry, movement and song join the Darling children as they travel on an awfully big adventure to the Never Land.

Lazarus is an award-winning ensemble theatre company, re-imagining and revitalising classic work in visual, visceral and vibrant productions. 2020 will be the third season of work at Greenwich Theatre. Lazarus are proud to continue their Greenwich Made / Greenwich Played programme. Where possible they work with local organisations in the Royal Greenwich borough to support their work, from rehearsal rooms to printing, hospitality to participation.
