Multi-million selling recording artist Bryan Adams comes to the O2 on May 31. His Ultimate Tour follows the launch of his new album Ultimate, featuring two new tracks and all the hits, including (Everything I Do) I Do it for you, Can’t Stop this thing we’ve started, Summer of ’69, and Heaven. Explore Severndroog Castle after hours while listening to performances from local musicians at one of the summer lates.

The court yard of the historic Castle is the only place in the city you can enjoy a cocktail surrounded by ancient woodland. A very limited number of Premium Tickets are also available for exclusive access to stunning twilight panoramic views of London from the viewing platform on top of the castle. Severndroog’s catering partner the Terrace Tearoom, and their celebrated chef Christopher Hackett, are cooking up delicious themed food, and cocktails, wine and beer all evening. Tickets: £6.50 + booking fee for Court Yard ticket or £13 + booking fee includes access to the viewing platform. Tickets are on sale for this year’s On Blackheath festival.  South London’s Squeeze are headlining on Saturday, along with The Divine ComedyBilly Bragg, and Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Choir. Paloma Faith is leading the show on Sunday, while other acts include De La SoulCorinne Bailey Rae, and Lightning Seeds.

There’s also a family playground, food village, traditional family fun fair, and plenty more to come.

Hemingway Design’s Urban Village Fete returns to the Peninsula on May 20 (11am-7pm). In the past two years it’s drawn crowds of 25,000 people and this year’s promises to be bigger and bolder.  A free day of music and arts events, Gilles Peterson is headlining the main stage. Touching Base, Jazz Re:Freshed, and William LV are all DJ-ing throughout the day.
