Flat Time House
Flat Time House is the former studio of Jon Latham, one of the most influential post-war artists in Britain.
The house was declared a ‘living sculpture’ in 2003 and opened to anyone interested in exploring art with the artist.
When Latham died in 2006, the people in charge of his estate wanted to respect and continue this approach to sharing art. The house was formally opened as a gallery in 2008.
Now, it is home to the archive of Latham’s work, provides a centre for creative learning, hosts residency space for contemporary artists and hosts events and exhibitions of new work.
Additional Opening Information
Flat Time House is currently open only by appointment.
