The Blacksmith’s Arms
It is rumoured the Lord Nelson drunk in the Blacksmiths Arms, as his lover lived next door and his dock was nearby.
The historical architecture is impressive and, while the pub retains a lot of its traditional charm, it has been updated to embrace the needs of the contemporary consumer.
The food menu is made up of a mixture of pub classics made with top quality ingredients and Thai favourites, with generous roast dinners served on Sundays.
The pub welcomes families, offers free WiFi and has both a comfortable beer garden and an elegant upstairs room available for private hire.
