Being the smallest boxing facility in London has done nothing to hold back The Ring. Really, nothing has.
First established in 1910 on Blackfriars Road, it was moved to rooms above The Ring pub opposite when the gym burned down thirty years in. It was moved just before the new millennium to the current location under one of London’s old railway arches.
Today, the attention and publicity is has gained as one of London’s leading independent boxing facilities has given the club something of a cult following.
It offers long term membership or pay-as-you-go personal training and regularly hosts popular fights.
